Nidra Poller describes an absolutely astounding series of events in Paris that certainly remind one of what may have played out on the stage in the early warning days of the 1930's. When I saw Poller speak some weeks ago, an audience member asked if this is what it was like in the 1930's in France. Another astute audience member replied that no, it's not like the 1930's, because now there's a place called Israel. We'd better make sure it stays that way. ...Eyewitnesses concur about the incursion: 30 men in paramilitary formation stormed into rue des Rosiers, shouting threats and insults against Jews.
