Sickness and horror. My only question is if this is really the first time the terrorists have used children in this way. They've certainly taken pleasure in targeting children before.

Iraq insurgents used children in car bombing

Insurgents in Iraq detonated an explosives-rigged vehicle with two children in the back seat after US soldiers let it through a Baghdad checkpoint over the weekend, a senior US military official said Tuesday.

The vehicle was stopped at the checkpoint but was allowed through when soldiers saw the children in the back, said Major General Michael Barbero of the Pentagon's Joint Staff.

"Children in the back seat lowered suspicion. We let it move through. They parked the vehicle, and the adults ran out and detonated it with the children in the back," Barbero said...

... "It killed the two children inside as well as three other civilians in the vicinity. So, a total of five killed, seven injured," the official said.

Officials here said they did not know who the children were or their relationship to the two adults who fled the scene. They had no information about their ages or genders.

"The brutality and the ruthlessness of this enemy hasn't changed," said Barbero, deputy director of regional operations of the Joint Staff. "They are just interested in slaughtering Iraqi civilians, to be very honest."

Attacks on Iraqi civilians are down by a third and sectarian murders have fallen by 50 percent since mid-February when US and Iraqi forces began moving into Baghdad as part of a new security crackdown, the general said...

Breath of the Beast comments:

...Could anyone need any more proof that they will destroy the entire world to avoid admitting that they are failed human beings, that they have no future and that their religion is a jape and a sham? The question is: why does Reuters and the Globe even cover it? Can it be that even they are beginning to wake up?

The MSM has had all the information they need to get some sense into themselves for some time. Why should this change them? This is grievance theater for them, not a living example of an evil we can't escape.

Don't forget all the "child" soldiers used by muslims over the years, and those used by various African militias etc. And of course, the famous picture of "palestinian" children in fatigues carrying rifles that appeared on the cover of Life in the early 70's.

And then the "RPG Kids"-- during Israel's attempted rout of the PLO terrorist occupiers of Lebanon back in the 70's/80's, Israeli soldiers faced children as young as 8 who fired rocket propelled grenades at them.

Sol;
While you were in Israel, you may have noticed the concrete barriers set up around playgrounds to protect children from snipers. Is it any surprise that people who deliberately target children would use children as a weapon? More proof that Golda was right when she said there would be no peace until Muslims love their children as much as they hate Jews. Just expand Jews to read all of us kaffirs.

It's a trend, Zachary Abuza, reporting on the insurgency in southern Thailand:

"... insurgents have stepped up their attacks on police and soldiers, civilians, monks, women (including pregnant women), and children have been killed with appalling frequency. A week ago, insurgents opened fire on a class of 5th graders, leaving one 11-year old in a coma. The following day two female students were gunned down on their way to class. Monks have been targeted as well. These provocative attacks are meant to illicit heavy-handed government responses to further alienate the security forces from the broader Muslim community."

Things are going to get worse before they get better. This is a disgusting development.

Michael B,

Check out the latest on Gates of Vienna on Thailand. Stuff that makes you want to scream.

Yes, thx, I read Gates.
