The Council for American-Islamic Relations is encouraging American Muslims to get their outrage on over Israel's archaeological dig adjacent to the Temple Mount...the same conspiracy mongering being used to outrage the Muslim World elsewhere and incite them to violence:

U.S. IMAMS URGED TO DEDICATE KHUTBAS TO AL-AQSA MOSQUE

Israeli actions threaten Islamic holy site

(WASHINGTON D.C., 2/22/07) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is calling on North American Muslims and other people of conscience to help protect religious sites in Jerusalem reportedly threatened by an Israeli archeological dig near Al-Aqsa Mosque. North American imams are also being asked to discuss the importance of Jerusalem to Muslims in their khutbas (sermons) this Friday.

Palestinians say the Israeli dig could damage Al-Aqsa's foundations and is another attempt by Israel to change the religious character of the holy city. Suspicion over Israeli intentions grew when Israeli officials revealed recently that they had hidden the 2004 discovery of an Islamic prayer area at the dig site.

CAIR goes on to give all the reasons Jews were happier under Islamic rule, and references all the many mentions of Jerusalem in the Koran, none of which actually reference Jerusalem.

I wonder what will happen when Muslims start attacking Jews with greater regularity here in North America, thanks to the actions of seditious organizations such as CAIR. Actually, I know what will happen: The lapdog MSM will hush up the attacks, and once they finally come to light, Israel will be blamed.............

This whole Temple business has a strong similarity to the 1928 riots that proceeded the infamous Hebron Massacre. Then the Mufti charged that by screening men and women who were praying at the West Wall the Jews were violating an old tradition forbidding Jewish construction in the Temple are. The Mufti turned the whole trivial affair turned a pogrom. Over a hundred jews were murdered by Muslims, and the ancient Jewish community at Hebron was destroyed. Now Nuslim hysteria centers on the archaeological dig. CAIR seems to be intent on proving that Muslims are crazy by jumping in on this idiocy.

CAIR is hypocritical.

Where was CAIR when the Muslim Waqf, the Muslim religious authority that controls the Temple Mount, were using BULLDOZERS on the Temple Mount during some construction and dumping the earth in some landfill.

The Temple Mount is a archealogical site that should be carefully studied by archeologists, NOT by bulldozers.

Also the Waqfs "construction" had the goal of erasing the Jewish foundation of Jerusalem.

Again Where Was CAIR?

I hope someone brings up CAIRs duplicity.
