The photographer, Adnan Hajj, also took many of the photos from Qana, an event and photo-op now also under intense scrutiny for obvious staged aspects.
While the fact that Reuters is doing this--and does anyone seriously believe that this will be the first or last time that they have done this?--is abominable, it is completely unsurprising. Remember, this is an organization that does unbelievable mental gymnastics to avoid calling terrorists by their proper name. Wouldn't want to offend them, now, would we? Why, that would just be rude!
