That whole story is bizarre. It seems unlikely to me that any Thai -- Buddhist or Muslim, however anti-Israel or anti-Semitic -- would have come up with that "gassed and burned" line. They simply wouldn't have enough familiarity with Jews and Jewish history to say something like that. I wonder who these people are?
By the way, your friend from the Hezbollah rally was on the news last night in Boston. (NECN, I think.) My wife and I simultaneously commented that there's something classically Bostonian about a jihadi wearing a Paul Pierce jersey, although Ortiz or Bourque would have been even better!
It appears it's a Thai company but I UK web site. That could explain it. They're also selling a quasi-legal item (mod chips -- I guess they're legal, but I don't know what the specifics are), so it's probably not a place that's up to the highest of professional standards. I dunno.
Very interesting on the TV thing. It wasn't FOX was it? Seva was on FOX last night and they showed the pic and video, or was he a guest himself? What was the story about? Do you remember?
(hope that works -- requires IE to play -- nice press release for Hizballah)
"Syme: It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words. You wouldn't have seen the [Newspeak] Dictionary 10th edition, would you Smith? It's that thick. [illustrates thickness with fingers] The 11th Edition will be that [narrows fingers] thick. Winston Smith: So, The Revolution will be complete when the language is perfect? Syme: The secret is to move from translation, to direct thought, to automatic response. No need for self-discipline. Language coming from here [the larynx], not from here
[the brain]" -1984 (film)
