The US is expediting bomb re-supply to Israel, and the voice of Hamas and Hizballah in the United States, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, is seething:

Something you would never catch CAIR's friends doing:

Muslim group urges disengaging policy from 'dictates' of pro-Israel Lobby

In a statement, CAIR Board Chairman Parvez Ahmed said:

"It is unconscionable that our government would rush weapons to a state engaged in vicious and indiscriminate attacks on the civilians and civilian infrastructure of a friendly nation. Thousands of our nation's citizens also remain in Lebanon facing death or injury from these American taxpayer-supplied weapons.

"The baffling decision to assist in the destruction of a nation that has been held up as a model of democratic reform can only serve to harm our long-term interests in the region. Aiding attacks on civilian targets in Lebanon also calls into question our nation's commitment to fighting terrorism in all its forms.

"America must disengage its Middle East policy from the self-serving dictates of the pro-Israel lobby. Failure to do so will allow Israel to once again drag our nation into its self-perpetuating cycle of hatred and conflict."

hi,

In response to "or else".... Make our day! The elites and left in the US may want to kiss your feet, but most of us could not wait for a good donny-brook. The problem, of course, is that most of these guys hide behind their women or inside civilian areas. Pity they won't fight like men, but need to be at their mother's breasts.

(Just to be clear, in case it wasn't, the "or else" is my addition -- a play on the consistent implicit threat in so many statements like CAIR's. 'If you don't take the position we want you to...there'll be trouble.')

CAIR has clearly dropped it's mask. For any who previously believed their claim of loyalty to America; they are now espousing the cause of a terrorist organization responsible for the murder of hundreds of Americans, and the wounding and crippling of many hundreds of others. Any news organization who, in the future, give any credance to any of the CAIR spokesmen should be ashamed.

very simple, eradicate hizbulah,s from your country. If you cant make it then we must question your motives. God bless Israel.

Why does anything CAIR says or days surprise people? They are and have always been a fifth column in the U.S. Just watch them squirm whenever they are asked a question about terrorism against Israel........

#6 isirota1965 at: July 23, 2006 8:39 AM

You are right, of course, Isirota. Unfortunately, most MSM interviews never ask the tough questions, and allow outrageous claims and comments by CAIR to go unchallenged. While free speech allows them to make spurious statements, a free press does not necessarily mean free from bias. By the way, CAIR is also calling on it's supporters to report injuries or damage inflicted by Israel. I see a campaign by CAIR accusing Israel of war crimes looming on the horizon, and the media will continue to be their enablers.

I heard Nihad Awad of CAIR on the radio the other night. If that wasn't the voice of Hamas and Hizballah in the United States I don't know what would be.

#8 Solomon at: July 23, 2006 11:02 AM

The CAIR people should either assimilate into US society, or get out of my country.
We have no patience with people who are apologists for terrorism and Islamic supremacy.

Only one thing here bothers me at all. I always understood that Saudi Arabia is CAIR's paymaster and Saudi Arabia's official stand is that Hezbollah is to blame. (The unofficial stand is likely one of gloating over Syria and Iran getting themselves in the muck -- they've started something, but dare not send in their airforces or suffer the consequences.)

I guess CAIR doesn't want to alienate the Shia community in the US.

CAIR can whine all they want, this is the USA and here we support Israel, well most of us!!!

GOD BLESS ISRAEL

5) Enjoy your stay!
