By roping the Maronites and the secularized residents of Beirut in with a large Muslim population, France condemned them to civil war, and to the ultimate fate of becoming either refugees or dhimmi.
Atlas Shrugs is reporting that apparently, President Bush may issue a call for Israel to halt its airstrikes. Well, wouldn't that be wonderful? Let's have the WHOLE world against Israel! I expected cowardice and dhimmitude out of Europe, but had hoped for better out of us................
