Had a great time tonight meeting up for a nice Thai dinner with some other local bloggers. In no particular order: Richard Landes, Miss Kelly, Sisu and spouse, neo-neocon, New England Republican, Harry Forbes, Teresa and our special non-blogging guest for the evening, The Boston Globe's shining light, Jeff Jacoby. Jeff's a great guy. Very down to earth, and hearty thanks to him and to everyone else for showing up. If you're a local blogger (in shooting distance of Boston) who'd like to be included in future meetups, drop me a line.

Update: Neo wrote about the event, here.

Update: Sissy has her post up with pic of special guest. Teresa's post is here.

» New England Blogger Meet Up at the blog New England Republican

I had the pleasure of attending a meeting of New England bloggers on Thursday night for some nice dinner and conversation. This was the group’s third monthly meeting but the first one that I have been able to attend. Writers from the following bl... Read More

"shooting distance", huh? Great, that'll get us all in trouble!

Heya Maggie, let me know if you'd like to be informed of the next one.

How about a "road trip" meeting in the Philadelphia area?!?! ;-)

I think I would like that. Thank you for the invitation. Did it come before or after you popped over and checked me out?

After, of course! Due diligence and all that...

Sol pulls together another fun meeting where we have fun and manage to learn a thing or two. Thanks for spearheading this, Sol. Good venue, good peoples, looking forward to more.

Sppme of us NYers had a good time hanging out with Richard Landes on Wed evening.

I think the time is right for an East Coast neocon blogger weekend. I propose a house or cheap motel by the shore or in the country for a Saturday overnight (so Shabbat-observing Jews can attend). We can hang out and eat and drink and and barbecue and hike and look at scenery.

Or if someone has a big house where we could hang out, whoever doesn't want to pay for a hotel room can bring a sleeping bag.

Judith, would that I could travel the country (or world) meeting up with other bloggers. Alas, the PJ thing in New York was about as much of a splurge in money and time as I can do but once in a great while.

I would, however be happy to add in bloggers in "striking distance" of Boston so they could perhaps show up some time if they are in the area or feel like taking a road trip.

Sol, I'd be pleased if you'd inform me of the next meeting -- sounds like fun!

Added to the list!

Can you please let me know the next time there is a Boston blogger meetup?

Thank you.
