Labour MP John Mann in The Guardian:

As chair of the all party parliamentary group against anti-semitism, I am delighted to see a group of cross-party MPs taking the time to examine anti-semitism in Britain...

...It is clear from evidence presented to the inquiry that anti-semitism has not gone away and that its nature is now more varied. Traditional anti-semitism still exists, with fascist leaflets as crude as in the 1930s distributed on the streets of the UK. Attacks on Jews continue...

...When I commissioned this inquiry, one MP commented with surprise: "I didn't realise you were Jewish." Neither did I. Anti-semitism is like all other racism: unacceptable without qualification. I hope that this inquiry will recommend some practical conclusions that can help redraw that line.

Imagine, a non-Jew concerned with the problem of anti-Semitism. Next thing you know, there'll be Jews who believe what they do for reason and not just as a dictate of their ethnicity.

"Freedom is indivisible, and when one man is enslaved, all are not free."

Racism is a form of slavery of the mind.

Pardon? There at least as many opinions as there are Jews. So would you say that self-hating Jews like Israel Shamir you were talking about recently falls under category of "believing what he does for reason and not just as a dictate of ethnicity."

Admittedly ethnicity somewhat focuses your mind, particularly if you are subjected to persecution and risks because of it.

Also there are plenty of non-Jews concerned about Anti-Semitism. Have a look at sandmonkey's blog.

My comment should be read as though contained within /irony or /sarcasm tags. Sorry that's not clear.

Just having a bad day. Guess in a normal world your sarcasm would have been obvious. Not sure this applies to our world where leading academics support the view behind the Protocols of the Elders of Zion:
