omigod You're not kidding. The guy really, truly calls himself Hitler.

Of course, what an you expect of a city that votes in the "moderate" party - Fatah? In Arabic, FATAH is the acronym for "Conquest by jihad"

Some references which I may have posted here in the past, but are elemental in terms of what the lend to comprehensions of the Mideast in general and, more specifically, some of the genuninely poignant details of Israel and the Israeli/Arafat and consequences and antecedents thereof.

Colin Meade (an occasional but thoughtful and critical blogger) has a very brief series entitled Europe and Political Islam. Highly recommended as a template for fundamental apprehensions and one which references Ye'or, Kuntzel and others in a trenchant and succinct and highly viable analysis.

Matthias Kuntzel, especially some of his historical illuminations focusing on the direct link between Hitlerian anti-Semitism and the particularly pernicious, ahistorical forms currently found in the Mideast. Pivotal analyses revealing absolutely fundamental links and comprehensions. Read this stuff and understand!

Tom Gross. Read his "Jeningrad" post, his pictorial essays on Arafat's "educational program," his trenchant and highly substantive analyses of U.S., European and Mideast/Arab MSM forms of propaganda. Absolutely first-order reportage and accountings.
