Mahmoud Zahar, head of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, stated that Israel has not honored the temporary ceasefire, which was supposed to remain effective till the end of 2005.
In an interview to the newspaper Asharq al-Awsut, Zahar called for a resumption of terror attacks in the West Bank in order to force Israel to withdraw from those territories, Israel Radio reported.
How come this doesn't come as a big surprise? Also, to my knowledge were not terrorist attacks going on throughout the ceasefire (last I checked many of them were thwarted by Israeli intelligence/soldiers).
Sharon hopefully better have a plan B, because it may look like Israel removed the settlements for nought. (although I could be wrong, after all I am only...a blogger). ;)
