He's not the first man in history to try to give meaning to the lives of the downtrodden by scapegoating the Jews. Now he's turning it up a notch: Nation of Islam leader accuses Jews of 'anti-black' behavior, asks for dialogue
Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan has written the leaders of more than a dozen major U.S. Jewish groups and denominations seeking "repair of my people from the damage" he claims Jews have caused blacks for centuries.
Farrakhan sent the letter along with two books from the Nation of Islam Historical Research Team that the 77-year-old minister said prove "an undeniable record of Jewish Anti-Black behavior," starting with the slave trade and Jim Crow laws.
"We could charge you with being the most deceitful so-called friend, while your history with us shows you have been our worst enemy," he wrote.
Farrakhan has long accused Jews of wrongdoing in speeches, but he has rarely addressed Jewish groups so directly in writing.
The Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish civil rights group which distributed copies of the letter, said in a statement Tuesday that Farrakhan's "anti-Semitism is obsessive, diabolical and unrestrained. He has opened a new chapter in his ministry where scapegoating Jews is not just part of a message, but the message."
In the letter, dated last Thursday, the Chicago-based Nation of Islam leader said he sought a dialogue with Jews. He sent the letter to groups including the Orthodox and Reform movements, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and the American Jewish Committee, a New York-based advocacy and humanitarian nonprofit that spearheads inter-religious dialogue.
"This is an offer asking you and the gentiles whom you influence to help me in the repair of my people from the damage that has been done by your ancestors to mine," he writes. "Your present reality is sitting on top of the world in power, with riches and influences, while the masses of my people ... are in the worst condition of any member of the human family."...
This is a loogy in the face of all those Jews and Jewish organizations who have put the interests of Black people before their own interests, and in many cases have sacrificed their health and even their lives in doing so. The ADL press release is here.

Maybe Iran's paying him off to divert u.s. attention from nuke build-up. Just as Iran paid Turkey and North Korea off. This freak should pay the Jews billions of dollars compensation for black criminals over the years mugging, robbing etc. and the freak should first check out why his people have highest illegitimacy rates and highest criminal rates in America. pity the liberal jews who get smacked now as a thank you by those others they pitied.

Unlike almost every other dominant ethnic, racial or religious group in world history, white Protestants have ceded their socioeconomic power by hewing voluntarily to the values of merit and inclusion, values now shared broadly by Americans of different backgrounds. The decline of the Protestant elite is actually its greatest triumph.
Louis Farrakhan says Jews owe blacks due to their "anti black" behavior. Jews owe blacks an apology as much as the NAACP owes the KKK one , or Emmitt Till owes one to the white woman he whistled at.
The idea that Jews being disproportiately involved in injustice towards blacks is absolute history revisionism. In fact, it is the opposite-the worst hate crimes against Jews in America have been from blacks. (and the worst hate crimes against Asians too).
So sad to see black folks donning the white sheet and burning a cross on someone else's front porch. It makes me wonder what other lies the black lobby has told that we take for truth.

A) Blacks are not "his" people
B) Jews "pitied" blacks... more like sympathized with the Civil Rights cause.
I don't know where you grew up but many of my friends and schoolmates were/are black.. your answer sounds like you think of black people like Martians...
The fact that this attention seeking hatemonger has some sway in the black power circle is disturbing but doesn't indicate anything of the black community as a whole.
