You Nazty Spy! came out in 1940, before Chaplin's The Great Dictator.
There's a nice sharp version at Crackle (non-embeddable), here. Here's the YouTube edition:

You know I'm a huge fan of yours, but now to see that you show appropriate respect for the Stooges, and have acknowledged their being ahead of Chaplain, well, my admiration now is more boundless than ever.

The early work of "The 3 Stooges", like the early work of Elvis Presley, was better than their later works.

From imdb.com

"Was the FIRST Hollywood film to spoof Adolf Hitler, released nine months before Charles Chaplin's more famous The Great Dictator (1940). "

I finally saw "The Great Dictator", "Nasty Spy" is better. See TGD for yourself.

I read because Germany was a BIG market for Hollywood, Hollywood was AFRAID! to anger SHITler.

"The 3 Stooges" were LEADERS.

Duh! I forgot to list the two most important collaborators - the WRITERS.

Felix Adler (story)
Clyde Bruckman (story)

If you enjoyed "You Nasty Spy" as much as I did, check out
