The story in the The Telegraph actually has more dirt than the Time Online article I quicklinked below. Very disturbing stuff that belies the idea that Washington is ready to put this behind them.
Unfortunately, the demonstrated proclivities of this administration also argue against a Washington descent into reason. We have just watched the spectacle of a wildly unpopular health care bill (unpopular in substance and in process) being flogged into existence against all reason in the interest of achieving a determined end point. The disturbing part of this matter is that despite what conventional wisdom dictates -- that everyone should start putting the matter behind them and move on as quickly as possible -- we have an Administration that has a demonstrated suicidal streak when it sees a goal that might make people forget the process used to get there.

As he left, Mr Netanyahu was told to consider the error of his ways. "I'm still around," Mr Obama is quoted by Israel's Yediot Ahronot newspaper as having said. "Let me know if there is anything new."
For over an hour, Mr Netanyahu and his aides closeted themselves in the Roosevelt Room on the first floor of the White House to map out a response to the president's demands.
Although the two men then met again, at 8.20 pm, for a brief second meeting, it appeared that they failed to break the impasse. White House officials were quoted as saying that disagreements remained. Shimon Peres, the Israeli president, added: "Apparently they did not reach an understanding with the United States."...

Too bad that as the leader of a client state he had to be deferential. I think he should have done what the Marx brothers did when they got sick and tired of Thalberg keeping them waiting.
Obama has tipped his hand since his campaign how he would deal with Israel and it was not favorable, yet people chose to believe him when he said that he would safeguard the historic relationship between the two countries. Even after this they will choose not to see Obama for who he is.
Obama was delayed due to back problems from repeated deep bowing to Saudi kings and princes.
I think Bibi can consider himself lucky that Obama is his enemy rather than supporter. We witnessed many times what happens with causes and politicians that Obama supports. Most recently in Massachusetts with Martha Coakley.
Didn't he snub Sarkozy and a State dinner to go sight seeing when in Paris?

Extremely disturbing... this after an associate at work, someone who I relate to and could be friends with asked me about a Jewish ceremony where we drink the blood of murdered children...I had no idea what she was talking about...my response was that I have been to church where the wine and wafers represent the blood and flesh of Christ...then I spoke to our rabbits-on... she explained 'the blood liable's'... scary very scary...I never heard of it before...We as Americans and children of Eretz Yisrael best stand together and embrace each other now regardless of our race religion ethnicity or/and our political views. Our enemies are the terrorists we do not have stand a chance against them because we are divided on too too too many levels!!! G-d Bless us!!!
