Dubai is going to screen arrivals to "weed out" Israelis:
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Following the assassination of a Hamas operative, Dubai police will use voice and face profiling to detect Israelis arriving on foreign passports, the police chief said Monday.
Israelis have always been forbidden from traveling to the United Arab Emirates on their passports, but dual-nationals could use their alternative passport to enter the country.
Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim said that now travelers suspected of being Israeli will not be allowed into the Gulf country even if they arrive on another passport. They don't have any proof that Mossad did in the Hamas terrorist but even if they had such proof treating all Israelis as though they're guilty is de facto collective punishment.
Meanwhile,they aren't screening Arabs to see if they're connected to terrorist organizations. But Israelis are per se guilty, including diplomats, scientists, businesspeople, artists and athletes who enrich the world. The Arabs have been boycotting for decades now, based on ethnicity/religion - this began in the early 1930's and it ought to be illegal - isn't it apartheid?

Will CAIR DENOUNCE Dubai as they denounced profiling islamofascists after 9/11?
Apparently there are two versions of the Gulf News story. The tamer one quoted by Martin Kramer uses the term "Israeli" but the translation is "Jew."
The word "yahud" was used, not the word "Israeli."
Let's see. A known terrorist gunrunner travels to Dubai and dies of "natural causes" (suffocation by pillow) in a hotel there. Israel is blamed for it, but there's no proof linking the Mossad and lots of reasons to think Israel wasn't involved. First, the cast of characters is way too big for a Mossad hit squad. Like the CIA, MI-5 and other agencies, the Mossad probably uses forged documents, but they don't use identities of real Israelis. Third, the faces in Dubai's videos and don't match the faces on the forges passports. And it's not like Hamas isn't caught up in bloody rivalry with, say, Fatah, or that al-Mabhouh didn't have other enemies. No one should mourn his demise, but Israel isn't the only party who would have liked to see him dead.
So now Dubai will exercise extra diligence to make sure that
IsraelisJews who aren't allowed to travel to Dubai anyway won't sneak in under a non-Israeli passport.Britain and the EU have their panties in a twist because the forged passports used stolen identities of dual-nationals.
Is anyone asking what passport the execrable Mahmoud al-Mabhouh was traveling under? How diligently did Dubai check his travel documents?
Not to mention, the only people they actually have in custody are Palestinian.
I wonder, will Dubai now be profiling Palestinians?
