O...M...G... Palestinian protesters pose as Na'vi from "Avatar"
Palestinian protesters have added a colorful twist to demonstrations against Israel's separation barrier, painting themselves blue and posing as characters from the hit film "Avatar." 
The demonstrators also donned long hair and loincloths Friday for the weekly protest against the barrier near the village of Bilin.
They equated their struggle to the intergalactic one portrayed in the film...
...The "Avatar" protest comes a day after the Israeli government began rerouting the enclosure to eat up less of the Palestinian village.

You didnt think that the Left and their victimization groups werent going to use this to the hilt, did you?
As can be seen in the background, some of the photos are before or after the demo - which means they are not real "news photos" but a show to the media. Shame on AP to cooperate with such cheap tricks.
I hate to break it to the blue Palestinian aboriginal wannabees, but their creator has something to say about their favorite pet project: boycott, divestment and sanctions:

I was going to quote Disraeli who someone told me once said "While your people were painting themselves blue and swinging from trees, mine were writing and following God's law." but this turns out to have been a false attribution of what was originally an Irish quote about the British. (Pity)
Still, here's a real Disraeli quote that might explain the confusion:
