Apparently we are not overjoyed by Ahmadijenad's victory. According to this headline,

I agree, it was refreshing to see debate.
But now what? The people have no power, obviously - all the candidates must be vetted by the theocracy - worse - the results might have been skewed but Ahmadijenad may still have won the most votes.
That bodes ill for our peace outreach.
