For those not keeping score, Karin Friedemann (aka Maria Hussain) is the local Boston anti-Semitic whack-job (see linked search or just start here) active with such groups as the Islamic Society of Boston and the Green-Rainbow Party. Add a new one to the list: She's trolling the Paulians for converts now.
The Boston Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group

Link: World View News Service
Introduction:
"I am here to support Ron Paul for President because he supports ending US funding of foreign countries. I live in Dorchester, and am editor of the awesome and thought-provoking World View News Service."
Stats:
* Meetup member since November 10, 2007
* Group member since November 10, 2007
* Last visited in the past few days
There's something predictable here.
BTW, if you've taken any interest in the Jamaica-Plain Greens discussions, you may have noticed a surprising silence on the part of Karin and hubby Joachim. This may have an explanation in the existence of one of those stress points in the Left/Islamist alliance. A veiled explanation at the GRP web site in a proposal about blunting a couple of "party statements" in an effort to appease some of the members (the Palestine statement, too) could hold an explanation:
Make of it all what you will.

Comment Info and Policy:
1) You must have Javascript enabled in your browser in order to comment (blame the spammers). If you don't know what that is, you're probably fine.
2) HTML is on, so basic html should work. Raw links will be made auto-clickable, too, so even if you don't know html you can just paste in the link and it should work fine. Keep the "http://" in it.
3) Comments are generally unmoderated, which means I don't necessarily agree with the tone and tenor of everything posted. In fact, sometimes people post things they don't really mean just to make other people look bad. The internet is an anonymous place for the most part. That said...
4) I welcome you to post here. I'd love to have your input, agree, disagree or just offer a different data point, really. If I didn't want any participation, I'd turn off comments. Be aware, however, that this blog and the comments section exist for my entertainment. Therefore, I reserve ALL RIGHTS here, including the right to remove any or all comments on nothing more than a whim. Please don't even bother complaining. I'm the one providing the space and the free news and thought buffet. I don't owe anyone anything.
Anyone who posts here will be treated as my guest. That means I'm happy to be polite as a default, but if anyone is rude to the host they'll be unceremoniously shown the door.
It may pay to recall a famous line from the Tom Selleck magnum opus, Mr. Baseball: "Jack-san, you want Yoji's advice about the babes, you come to Yoji with respect."
5) Enjoy your stay!

IMO Bill Clinton won in 92 because Perot split the conservative vote, and Gore probably would have beaten Bush in 2000 if it had not been for Nader taking many left wing Dem votes away. Rob Paul's popularity among the left wing could have interesting consequences.
Maybe the muslim critique of gay rights will give some of the left who support Islamist politics so steadfastly some pause. Sharia wants to give gay males the death penalty; the left calls for equal rights. There's a disconnect there.
