Naveed Haq Found Guilty in Seattle Jewish Center Murder - 'A jury on Tuesday declared Naveed Haq guilty of murder in his second trial for the 2006 shooting spree at a Seattle Jewish center. Haq was found guilty of all eight counts against him. The 34-year-old man will spend the rest of his life in prison. Haq showed no reaction as the verdict was read, but victims in the courtroom hugged and clasped hands...The eight counts against him included one count of aggravated first-degree murder; five counts of attempted first-degree murder; one count of unlawful imprisonment; and one count of malicious harassment, the state's hate-crime law. Jurors on Tuesday rejected Haq's defense that he was not guilty by reason of insanity...

Oh my, this will break Richard Silverstein's "progressive Zionist"(?!) heart. To the Tikun Olam blogger it was clear that Haq was not guilty by reason of insanity notwithstanding the first jury's failure to agree, and he accused the Seattle Jewish community of pressuring the district attorney to re-try the case.
Well, while it will break Silverstein's heart, it doesn't break mine.richard silverstein is suffering from the same mental illness as naveed haq.
richard silversteins connection to Judaism is as real as naveed haqs connection to Christianity.
