The need for diverse opinions is a real one, and we, as students, benefit from having our core beliefs challenged. That being said, anti-Semitism is not a challenge worthy of scholarship, nor is the author of anti-Semitic materials worthy of tenure. Given that Massad has been granted tenure, we should all be frightened for the state of academia and disappointed because, as students, we bear the brunt of Columbia’s decisions.' [The value of your diploma just dropped over the summer, kid.]
