Debbie Schlussel: Jimmy Carter Meets w/ Fadlallah, Hezbo Spiritual Leader Who Ordered Bombing of U.S. Marines; Hezbo Defeat Only Temporary - '...As a former American President, Carter's meeting with Fadlallah is far more of an outrage than his meeting with HAMAS, because he could argue (falsely) that HAMAS hasn't attacked America or targeted Americans (even though HAMAS did, in fact, kill Americans). With Hezbollah, it's a different story, and especially Fadlallah. As I've noted time and again on this site, Fadlallah is not only Hezbollah's top guy (as opposed to Hassan Nasrallah, whose leadership is only temporary and at the will of Iran). Fadlallah is the man who personally ordered and okayed the bombing mass murders of over 300 U.S. Marines and officials, with the attacks on the Marine barracks and U.S. Embassy in 1983. The fatwah for this was issued by him...'
