There must be more to this story. I mean...there must be... Navy SEALs Face Assault Charges for Capturing Most-Wanted Terrorist
Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq -- the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.
The three, all members of the Navy's elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment -- called an admiral's mast -- and have requested a trial by court-martial.
Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named "Objective Amber," told investigators he was punched by his captors -- and he had the bloody lip to prove it.
Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers...
Visions of the scene from Band of Brothers where Capt. Winters refuses to accept punishment and demands a Court Martial instead...a bloody lip? It must be more than that...must be. This guy planned and perpetrated an atrocity, and the Navy is worried he may have been roughed up a bit?

1) You must have Javascript enabled in your browser in order to comment (blame the spammers). If you don't know what that is, you're probably fine.
2) HTML is on, so basic html should work. Raw links will be made auto-clickable, too, so even if you don't know html you can just paste in the link and it should work fine. Keep the "http://" in it.
3) Comments are generally unmoderated, which means I don't necessarily agree with the tone and tenor of everything posted. In fact, sometimes people post things they don't really mean just to make other people look bad. The internet is an anonymous place for the most part. That said...
4) I welcome you to post here. I'd love to have your input, agree, disagree or just offer a different data point, really. If I didn't want any participation, I'd turn off comments. It may pay to recall a famous line from the Tom Selleck magnum opus, Mr. Baseball: "Jack-san, you want Yoji's advice about the babes, you come to Yoji with respect."
5) Enjoy your stay!

Not just American but European. The Western Left has turned our criminal justice systems over the last 40 years into a farce...which is far more concerned with coddling violent criminals and medicalizing their criminal behavior than in protecting citizens and society from them.
I saw this on another blog. Like you, I didn't believe it. On the off chance it is true, to paraphrase a famous person, this is the first time in my life I am ashamed of my country.
Well the terrorist is most probably being briefed by Holder's chums in his old firm.
He will get a trial in NY and Obama will be so ashamed, ashamed I tell you, that it is better to sacrifice the Seals.
Maybe their commander is like the one in Fort Hood who is only worried about diversity?
G-d help America if this is true.
