"Syme: It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words. You wouldn't have seen the [Newspeak] Dictionary 10th edition, would you Smith? It's that thick. [illustrates thickness with fingers] The 11th Edition will be that [narrows fingers] thick. Winston Smith: So, The Revolution will be complete when the language is perfect? Syme: The secret is to move from translation, to direct thought, to automatic response. No need for self-discipline. Language coming from here [the larynx], not from here

This is the same conference which had a venue cancellation rebuff by The Aqsa School, an Islamic school in Bridgeview, Illinois. Not sure what the reason for that was but one theory advanced was that The Aqsa School considers Hizb ut Tahrir too radical - at least in terms of their image.
The Aqsa School rebuffs; the Hilton Hotel chain accepts.
Also, here's an extensive study on Hizb ut Tahrir (pdf).

American dhimmitude in the age of Obama is astounding.
Just three months ago, in April, two hotels canceled reservations at the last minute. The Florida Marriott hotels that was to have hosted the Florida Security Council's conference, and a Loews hotel in Nashville for a program that would have featured Geert Wilders speaking by a video link. The hotels said they were concerned about the safety of the public and their employees. So rumors or veiled threats from adherents of the Religion of Peace can stifle free speech.
Now this.
The message is clear: Those who oppose the Jihad in America must sit down and shut up. Jihadis are welcome, but the jihadis themselves are welcome.
Telling, as yet another compare-and-contrast, and evidential as another aspect of Maistrovoy's thesis and concern. And no, Charles Johnson types and others, not to make overmuch of a single compare-and-contrast in some excited or reactionary sense, but assessed in a more measured sense it in fact provides another tell-tale indicator and provides further illumination nonetheless.
Telling, and surprising not in the least.
