But Israel used the the few missiles shot by other groups as an excuse to justify the massacre in December.
In fact, Israel invaded Gaza on Nov. 4th, killing some Palestinians and only then did Hamas resume firing rockets.
Then it offered another cease fire. Israel refused.
I'm no fan of Hamas, but do get your facts straight. Israel broke the cease fire when rocket attacks from non-Hamas factions had slowed to a trickle. I think 4 were shot between SEpt and Nov.
As if the false, fine distinction you claim is important mattered at all. 2007, Hamas has been the governing authority in Gaza. During their reign of terror, there were thousands of rockets launched against Israel from inside Gaza. What does it matter if they say "those weren't our rockets" if they turn a blind eye to their cohorts?
