He's 106 --- birthday, May 1. Someone from Wisconsin drove all the way down to Kentucky to see him and get him to give some autographs.
Drove to Louisville yesterday from Saint Louis to say good-bye to my GREAT Uncle Robley. I received the phone call from the VA hospital just after 3:00 a.m 4/28 that he had passed. I guess he just got worn out thinking about all the party celebrations for his 108 birthday on May 2nd.
