'Da Vinci Code knights innocent'

ROME, Italy (AP) -- The Vatican has published secret archive documents about the trial of the Knights Templar, including a long-lost parchment that shows that Pope Clement V initially absolved the medieval Christian order from accusations of heresy, officials said Friday.

The 300-page volume recently came out in a limited edition -- 799 copies -- each priced at $8,377 [Good work if you can get it! -S], said Scrinium publishing house, which prints documents from the Vatican's secret archives.

The order of knights, which ultimately disappeared as a result of the heresy scandal, recently captivated the imagination of readers of the best-seller "The Da Vinci Code," in which the author Dan Brown linked the Templars to the story of the Holy Grail.

The work reproduces the entire documentation on the papal hearings convened after King Philip IV of France arrested and tortured Templar leaders in 1307 under charges of heresy and immorality...

...Historians believe that Philip owed debts to the Templars and seized on the accusations to arrest their leaders and extort confessions of heresy under torture as a way to seize the order's riches.

The publishing house said the new book includes the "Parchment of Chinon," a 1308 decision by Clement to save the Templars and their order. The document was misplaced for centuries in the archives and found again by researchers in 2001...

They hold the key to the bloodline of the Anti-Christ, NOT the Christ

The templars continued in the portuguese orders under a different name (Avis Order). Their knowledge and resources allowed a farming country to guide the world and initiate the globalization we now enjoy. Perhaps their possesion of antique maps guided them into the search of new lands (america was already depicted in a 1385 map, over 100 years before the portuguese jewish spy colombus claimed it as india to fool the spaniards). Too much is unknown about the templars once they left france, but they didn't just evaporate.

This is to ALL who are ignorant to the Masonic Work. Unless you are a mason, and have been through the steps from the beginning to the end, then you are full of it. Only people who have no clue, but to what others have written since the time of King Solomon's day can sit around and say it's heresy or devil worship.
I assure you all this, the masonic work is based on the building of King Solomon's temple. I am a Free & Accepted Mason, I am also a Knight's Templar, and a Shriner. Before anyone passes judgement on masons and their work should do the research. The shriners own and operate 22 children's hospitals in the United States alone, free to any child with birth defects or a burn victim.
But these days you have what is called free thinking people, that is the ones who will follow any bugle regardless of the direction, and swallow their new found wisdom hook line and sinker.
Masonry is based on the King James version of the Holy Bible, and for centuries the catholic church has been against anything that don't agreee with the pope, who is the pope, he's a man, supposedly of God, but that does not mean he is God. So if the pope says this or that, do not take it as gospel.
