Hey Andrew Sullivan, Get Your Hebron History Right! - 'For the past three days the Palestinian Arabs have been protesting in the city of Hebron (Chevron in Hebrew). The reason, Israel added two West Bank sites to their "Heritage Sites" list, The Tomb of Rachel and the Cave of the Patriarchs. This designation means that resources would be invested in infrastructure and in making holy sites more accessible to more worshipers. Israel would continue to uphold its policy of freedom of worship for all faiths. Hamas and Fatah are using the move to rile up the public saying that it is an Israeli takeover of their land...'



Since Judaism is about 2000 years older than Islam
it is obvious that the Arabs and Muslim claims on
Hebron or Jerusalem are only to deligitimate
the Jewish religious and historical rights on
those (and other) places.
