Daveed Gartenstein-Ross: A defense of Rashad Hussain - '...Rashad exemplifies so much of the best about Islam in America, and I write to defend him against the overblown attacks on him -- many of which have been far more intemperate than anything Rashad said in 2004. Rashad deserves better than this; we as a country deserve better than this.'
